Who's Moving Where In Wealth Management? – Investcorp, Ince, Others

The latest moves and appointments for wealth management roles in the UK, other parts of Europe, the Middle East and select international locations.

Investcorp
Investcorp, the alternative investment firm, has named Mashaal AlJomaih as managing director of private wealth for the organisation in Saudi Arabia.

AlJomaih, who will be based in Riyadh, has more than 20 years of experience in the investment banking space.

“His deep knowledge and understanding of Saudi Arabia’s market, which is a key market for Investcorp, as well as his experience in wealth management, make him ideal for this role,” Yasser Bajsair, CEO of Investcorp in Saudi Arabia, said. “We believe the economic transformation of the Kingdom and the evolution of the family business model have created opportunities to establish higher value and larger scale businesses that require complex and sophisticated processes and enhanced management capabilities.”

The business has been an active private equity player in Saudi Arabia since 2008, and has put about $1.4 billion of capital work in the Kingdom.

Prior to joining Investcorp, AlJomaih held senior positions at BNP Paribas Investment Company, JP Morgan Chase. He also co-founded a UK based real estate consulting company. He holds a BSc in business administration from King Saud University, KSA and an MBA, finance and MIS concentration from Clark University, Worcester, Massachusetts. He also attended the Young Managers Program at INSEAD, France.

Ince
International legal and professional services firm, Ince, has appointed Oliver Storey as a partner in its London corporate team.

Storey brings a wide range of legal experience in London’s corporate finance market, including advising listed and private companies, investment funds, private offices and government departments on their financing needs. He has fundraising, transactional and M&A experience.

Charles Stanley
Charles Stanley has appointed James Rae as head of inheritance tax portfolio management.

Rae joined the firm’s IHT team in July 2017. Prior to joining the business, he worked at Charlotte Square Investment Managers in Edinburgh, where he was the lead manager of the HIS service.

In his new role, Rae will report to Dan James, head of asset management, and is based in the Charles Stanley London office.
