Who's Moving Where In Wealth Management? – Evelyn Partners, Old Mill, Others

The latest moves and appointments for wealth management roles in the UK, other parts of Europe, the Middle East and select international locations.

Evelyn Partners
Evelyn Partners, the UK wealth management and professional services group created from the merger of Tilney and Smith & Williamson, has appointed Kjersti Wiklund as an independent non-executive director.

During her executive career Wiklund held several senior leadership positions in a variety of countries, including director, group technology operations of Vodafone, deputy chief executive and chief technology officer of Kyivstar in Ukraine, chief operating officer of VimpelCom Russia, executive vice president and chief technology officer of Digi Telecommunications in Malaysia, and chief information officer at Telenor in Norway.

Among other roles, she is a NED of Nordea, the Nordic financial services group, and UK-listed firms Spectris and Zegona Communications. She is also NED of the Babcock 2022 annual meeting.

Wiklund graduated with an MSc in electronics engineering and computer science from Chalmers University of Technology in Sweden. Additionally, she holds a master’s in business management from the BI Norwegian Business School where she is now a member of the International Advisory Board.

Old Mill
Old Mill, a wealth management firm based in the UK’s Southwest, announced that it has promoted three of its team as it plans to double in size. It promoted Becca Pullman, Suzy May and Lewis Dyer.

The trio have been elevated from client manager to trainee financial planners.

Pullman joined Old Mill when she was 20. May joined the firm six years ago, and Dyer joined three years ago.

Old Mill originated in Shepton Mallet in the 1920s but, as it stands today, Old Mill was formed following a buyout in 2006. It has four offices: Exeter, Chippenham, Wells and Yeovil, with 350 staff offering service to more than 5,000 clients.

Tyndall Investment Management
The UK’s Tyndall Investment Management has appointed Theresa Russell as head of distribution. 

Russell has more than 20 years’ industry experience. Most recently, she was head of sales and marketing at absolute return and fixed income specialist CG Asset Management.  Before this, Russell headed the sales and marketing work for GVQ Investment Management.

Tyndall Investment Management, based in London, was founded in 2017.
