Evelyn Partners
UK wealth manager Evelyn
Partners has appointed Andrew Middleton as group chief
marketing and commercial officer. He will also become a member of
the group executive committee, reporting to Paul Geddes, group
chief executive officer.
Middleton's remit is to deliver the group’s commercial strategy and bring the business development and marketing functions into a single structure, the firm said in a statement. He will also lead the development of the group’s digital client offer, including Bestinvest, working with Mayank Prakash, group chief operations officer.
Middleton is joining from British Gas where he was
commercial, sales and marketing director and latterly
managing director of British Gas Zero. At British Gas, he gained
experience of regulated financial services through his leadership
of British Gas Insurance Limited, a top ten UK insurer. Prior to
British Gas, he was commercial director at easyJet, joining the
firm in a group strategy role before moving into the commercial
function.
Burgess Mee Family Law
UK-based Burgess Mee
Family Law has appointed family law partner Rachel Freeman.
She is joining from Kingsley Napley where she was a
partner.
Freeman, who has more than 20 years’ experience across all areas
of family law, has expertise in complex financial cases and
disputes in relation to children.
Indefi
Indefi, a strategy
advisor for asset managers, has appointed former a CEO in France
for HSBC’s private bank as a senior advisor.
Daniel Roy, based in Paris, was formerly CEO of La Banque Postale (LBP) Asset Management, CEO of HSBC Private Bank France and CEO of Natexis Asset Management, which later merged with Ixis Asset Management to become Natixis Investment Managers. Most recently, Roy served as head of development at Generali Asset & Wealth Management.
Roy will advise Indefi’s global asset management clients on growth activities, in particular, focusing on inorganic growth in the form of mergers and acquisitions and strategic partnerships.
In September 2023, Jim McCaughan, former CEO of Principal Asset Management, joined as US practice leader, Indefi said.
The business operates in Europe and the US.
