Who's Moving Where In Wealth Management? – BlackRock, Pictet

The latest moves, appointments and personnel changes in the UK, rest of Europe, the Middle East and select international jurisdictions.
BlackRock
Gareth Williams has left his position as managing director and
co-head of the global equity team at BlackRock. Williams, based
in the UK, has announced this move on his Linkedin
page.
Williams left the role this month, having worked at the
US-headquartered business since 2005, back when it was known as
Merrill Lynch Investment Managers.
“After 20 years at Blackrock, the time is right for me to move on
to pastures new, but first I’m really excited to spend more time
with my wonderful family over the coming months,” Williams
wrote.
This news service understands that Stephen Andrews will join
Olivia Treharne as co-head of the global equity team. Andrews has
been in the investment sector for 28 years, including
stints in Asian and emerging markets. Andrews has been
co-portfolio manager of BlackRock’s emerging markets income
strategy, and ran the emerging markets ex China, EM
Sustainable, Asia Dragon, Asian Unconstrained and Asian
Sustainable strategies.
Pictet
Pictet Wealth
Management has appointed Nina Hoas as senior philanthropy
strategist.
Hoas has more than 25 years’ experience across the international
development and humanitarian sector as well as the wealth
management industry. She joined Pictet last week in Geneva, the
firm said in a statement.
Previously Hoas headed LGT Bank’s philanthropy advisory offering,
a department she founded four and a half years ago. Prior to this
she was executive director for Philanthropy Advisory at UBS, in
charge of the Nordic and Middle Eastern markets.
Before becoming a philanthropy advisor, Hoas worked for various
development and humanitarian organisations such as The Global
Fund to fight AIDS, Malaria and Tuberculosis, the United Nations
High Commissioner for Refugees, and the United Nations World Food
Program.
