Who's Moving Where In Wealth Management? - Tilney, Janus Henderson

The latest moves in wealth management from across Europe and the Middle East.
Tilney
Tilney, the UK wealth
management firm with £24.4 billion ($31.6 billion) of assets
under management, has appointed Bennedetta Peto as chief people
officer. Peto will join the group in May and be based in
London.
Reporting to CEO Chris Woodhouse, Peto is responsible for the
group’s human resource department, including learning and
development, talent, reward and recruitment functions. She will
also sit on the Tilney Executive Committee.
Prior to this, Peto worked at Cabot Credit Management (CCM) where
she was responsible for the people agenda across the group,
overseeing employee engagement, people change management, human
resources and learning and development.
Janus Henderson

Henderson Investors has appointed Alex Barr to join its UK
multi-asset and alternatives team in London. He will report to
Paul O’Connor, head of Multi-Asset Investments and work alongside
James de Bunsen and Peter Webster, as co-manager on a number of
multi-asset alternatives funds, including the Henderson
Alternative Strategies Trust plc, on which Barr will be a senior
portfolio manager alongside James de Bunsen and Peter
Webster.
Barr joins from Aberdeen Standard Investments, where he was
global head of private markets and real estate investment
oversight. Alex has 26 years of experience in financial markets,
specialising in alternative assets. Previously, Barr was head of
private equity at Aberdeen Asset Management and lead manager of
Aberdeen Private Equity Fund.
