Who's Moving Where In Wealth Management? - Natixis IM, UBS Asset Management

The latest wealth management industry moves in the UK, the rest of Europe, the Middle East and select international locations.

Natixis
Natixis Investment Managers, which oversees €1.199.4 trillion ($1.36 trillion) in assets under management, has appointed Emily Askham (pictured) as chief marketing officer for the international business.

Askham will work with Natixis IM’s distribution teams and affiliate managers creating marketing strategies to engage with existing and new clients.

Her role is being expanded: Askham will be responsible for both Institutional as well as wholesale and retail marketing. In addition, she will oversee digital, content and advertising, roadshows, events and the RFP team. She will report to Joseph Pinto, head of distribution for Europe, Latin America, Middle East and Asia Pacific. Askham, who will be based in London, will start on 12 January.

UBS
UBS Asset Management has named Lucy Thomas as head of sustainable investing. 

In this role, Thomas will be responsible for leading delivery of UBS AM’s sustainability and impact strategy; and will report to Barry Gill, head of investments for UBS AM. She will be based in Zurich.

Thomas has 20 years’ experience in the industry and joins from TCorp, the financial markets partner of the New South Wales government in Australia, where she was head of investment stewardship. Prior to that, she was global head of sustainable investment at Willis Towers Watson (2014 to 2018). She started her career as an analyst on the graduate programme at Morgan Stanley.
