The latest senior moves in wealth management from across Europe and the UK.
Lombard International Assurance
Lombard
International Assurance has appointed Simon Gorbutt as
director wealth structuring solutions. He was also recently
appointed as chair of STEP Benelux.
Gorbutt is a solicitor, qualified in England and Wales, and a
Trust and Estate Practitioner. Based in Luxembourg, he leads an
in-house team of industry experts providing wealth structuring
services to Northern European and US expatriate clients. He is a
regular speaker on insurance-based wealth solutions, a member of
ITPA and has been actively involved on the STEP Benelux Board for
the past three and a half years.
Lombard International Assurance is part of the Lombard
International Group, which is a leading life insurance-based
wealth solutions provider with over 25 years’ experience. With
head offices in Luxembourg and Philadelphia, it serves over 20
markets across the US, Europe, Asia and Latin America. Global
assets under administration are in excess of €44.9 billion ($51.0
billion) as of 30 June 2019.
Invesco
Invesco has appointed
Andy Dwiar as head of exchange traded funds capital markets for
the UK, Benelux and Nordic region. He reports to Jim Goldie, head
of ETF Capital Markets for Europe, Middle East and
Africa.
Dwiar is joining from BMO Global Asset Management where he was
responsible for ETF Capital Markets EMEA. He is experienced in
sell- and buy-side roles, and has worked at Bluebay Asset
Management, Thames River Capital and Credit Suisse.
