The latest senior moves in wealth management from across Europe and the UK.

Liontrust
Asset Management, the UK investment house, has appointed Alex
Wedge as a trainee fund manager within the firm’s Liontrust
Economic Advantage team.
Wedge is joining Anthony Cross, Julian Fosh, Victoria Stevens and
Matt Tonge in mid-March from N+1 Singer, one of the largest
dedicated small-cap brokers in London. Wedge spent over seven
years at N+1, Singer, latterly as a senior member of the equity
sales team.
The team, which runs the Liontrust Special Situations, UK Growth,
UK Smaller Companies and UK Micro Cap funds using the Economic
Advantage Process, had £7.7 billion ($10.1 billion) assets under
management as at 31 December 2019.
Sanlam
Sanlam UK, part of South Africa-listed Sanlam, the financial services
group, has appointed Paul Clifford as a wealth manager in its
Cumbria office.
Based in Sanlam’s Kirkby Lonsdale offices, Clifford brings more
than 18 years of experience as a chartered wealth manager to his
role
Before joining Sanlam, Clifford was the managing director of
Integritas Wealth Partners, a company he founded in 2016. Prior
to that, he was an investment director at Royal Bank of Canada in
its wealth business.
Clifford is also a former president of the CISI Jersey committee
where he focused on promoting wealth management as a career to
local schools and colleges, and mentored students seeking a
career in the investment world. He graduated with a BA (Hons) in
business administration at Nottingham Trent University, and is a
chartered wealth manager and Fellow of the Chartered Institute
for Securities and Investment (CISI). Clifford holds the CISI
Diploma and the CFA Investment Management Certificate.
