European Private Bankers has a new group chief executive,
Jürg Zeltner, after the European Central Bank approved his
appointment, a spokesperson told WealthBriefing
yesterday.
Zeltner’s appointment - originally announced on 24 May - was
subject to clearance by the ECB and Luxembourg’s Commission de
Surveillance du Secteur Financier.
Formerly president of UBS Wealth Management and a senior
executive at the Swiss bank, Zeltner replaces Peter
Vandekerckhove, who stepped down from the day-to-day rigours of
his current position.
