JTC
Funds and services provider JTC has named Dean Blackburn as chief commercial officer, replacing Tony Whitney, who has retired after 23 years of “outstanding service", the firm announced on Wednesday.

Blackburn has over 30 years' international experience, working in financial roles in the UK, the Channel Islands, Asia, South Africa and the UAE. He joined JTC 18 months ago from HSBC, where he led the growth of its global HNW expatriate wealth management business and the bank’s Channel Islands and Isle of Man retail banking and wealth management business.

As CCO, Blackburn will work alongside JTC’s institutional and private client divisions with oversight for growing the group’s Treasury and Banking services. “He will oversee a team that supports both organic and inorganic growth as well as helping to drive and deliver efficiency improvements across the group,” JTC CEO Nigel Le Quesne said.
