The latest senior moves in wealth and asset management and legal affairs from across the UK and Europe.

Howard Kennedy
London law firm Howard Kennedy has appointed Reshmi Manekporia as a partner in its private client team. Previously, Manekporia worked for more than a decade at international law firm Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner, and before that she spent seven years at Clifford Chance. She began her career as a barrister at a leading Pump Court chambers.

Manekporia advises on international wealth structuring, tax and trusts, and specialises in multi-jurisdiction family succession and governance planning. This also encompasses Sharia-based wealth planning focused on clients in the UAE and Middle East.

Victory Hill
London-based Victory Hill Capital Advisors has appointed Gregory Scopelitis as a principal in investments.  

Scopelitis, who will be will be responsible for originating and executing new investments for Victory Hill Capital Advisors, has worked in project financing for more than 15 years. Prior to this, he worked at the International Finance Corporation and was a director in the structured finance team at Mizuho Bank in London. He has also worked at the World Bank in Washington DC with the European Investment Bank in Luxembourg; Proparco the principal investment arm of the Agence Francaise du Development; the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development in London; and in the structured credit department of Societe Generale in London.  

Victory Hill was founded in May 2020. Its team has taken part in more than $200 billion in transaction values across 91 conventional and renewable energy-related transactions in over 30 jurisdictions worldwide.

Bellecapital
London and Zurich-based boutique wealth firm Bellecapital has made three hires in London. Chris Hocking and Dan Bellamy will be joining in July from Deutsche Bank. Hocking will steer the firm’s private office capabilities and Bellamy will help deliver a range of wealth solutions, the firm said.

A third addition, Rudy Vandaele-Kennedy, is joining from UBP/ACPI Investment Managers, where he was managing director in their London office. In prior roles, he was head of UHNW desk at UBS and covered financial institutions and corporates for JPMorgan.

The employee-owned group manages around SFr 3.5 billion (£2.7 billion) for clients.
