Editorial Staff 20 January 2021

The latest senior moves in wealth management and legal practice across the UK and Europe.

Fletcher Day
Fletcher Day has expanded its family division, adding five new partners in London and one in Manchester, bringing the number of partners in the team to seven. The firm said the additions were in response to dramatic increases in demand for family services in the wake of the pandemic.

Siobhan Lomasney, Shameela Ahmed, Caroline Ford, Emma Nash, and Ashleigh Spencer have joined the London team, and Anita Shepherd has joined in Manchester as part of expansion plans in the North West, the firm said.

“We are pleased that our enhanced family team is able to support our clients through what is often an extremely critical and stressful point in their lives,” Jude Fletcher, senior partner said.

Rothschild
Rothschild & Co has appointed Warwick Newbury as a non-executive director to the board of its UK wealth management business (Rothschild & Co Wealth Management (UK) Ltd), with immediate effect.

Newbury has more than five decades of experience in the wealth management industry, both in the UK and Switzerland, having held a number of senior positions including head of Coutts Private Banking, CEO of the SG Hambros Group (now Kleinwort Hambros) and, most recently, chairman of Sandaire.
