Dutch banking group ABN AMRO has appointed Henrietta Baldock to the supervisory board of ABN AMRO Group. and ABN AMRO Bank. The appointment is subject to approval by the regulators, the firm said in a statement.

Annemieke Roobeek will resign from the supervisory board, effective the date of appointment of Baldock.

Baldock was until recently chairman of European financial institutions investment banking at Bank of America Merrill Lynch, based in London. Baldock joined Bank of America Merrill Lynch in 2000 as a vice president in financial institutions group (FIG) and promoted through the business to the positions of managing director and head of European financial institutions investment banking.
