Many firms which believe they are operating an integrated platform may in fact not be, according to a recent white paper from Archway Technology Partners.

According to the firm, the “true” definition of an integrated platform is: one database for multiple applications contained within a single platform.

Furthermore, citing statistics from an Aite Group survey, Archway says that supporting advisors working at RIA firms where the technology is fully integrated spent 200 per cent more time prospecting and acquiring clients and 40 per cent less time dealing with operations processes than advisors working at RIA firms without integrated technology.
