WisdomTree
WisdomTree, a New York-headquartered global financial innovator, has continued its run of exchange-traded funds (ETF) with the launch of the WisdomTree Tech Megatrends UCITS ETF (TMGT), providing diversified exposure to eight tech themes.

The ETF, which aims to track the price and yield performance, before fees and expenses, of the WisdomTree Tech Megatrends Equity UCITS Index, has a Total Expense Ratio (TER) of 0.50 per cent. Yesterday, TMGT listed on Börse Xetra, Borsa Italiana, Euronext Paris, SIX, and the Swiss stock exchange and today it will list on the London Stock Exchange.

The proprietary strategy is designed to tap into the long-term growth potential of disruptive tech companies around the world and benefit from the structural technological changes shaping the world’s future. It is designed to track the performance of global listed companies involved in investment themes throughout the technological shifts megatrend, which include artificial intelligence, blockchain, cloud computing, cybersecurity, and quantum computing, among others.

The launch of the WisdomTree Tech Megatrends UCITS ETF builds on the firm’s thematic ETF range and the framework developed for the WisdomTree Global Megatrends Equity strategy which has outperformed the Nasdaq 100 by 11.05 per cent since its launch.

Since 2018, WisdomTree has expanded its suite of 15 thematic UCITS ETFs, which manage over $9 billion in assets globally, while refining its approach to building both single-theme and diversified multi-thematic strategies. The new ETF uses the same framework that underpins the WisdomTree Megatrends UCITS ETF, focusing specifically on technology-driven themes through three complementary sources of potential alpha: strategic thematic asset allocation, tactical thematic asset allocation, and thematic stock selection.

“Technological innovation does not occur in isolation. AI depends on cloud infrastructure, cybersecurity underpins digital expansion, and advanced semiconductors enable both,” Pierre Debru, head of research, Europe at WisdomTree, said. “A multi-thematic approach captures these interdependencies, providing investors with diversified exposure to multiple long-term growth engines within the broader technology ecosystem.”

TMGT's launch follows the February and March 2026 launches of WisdomTree Physical AI, Humanoids and Drones UCITS ETF and WisdomTree Europe Infrastructure UCITS ETF.

US-headquartered investment managers Franklin Templeton and Invesco have also been boosting their range of ETFs recently. Fabrice Chemouny, head of international distribution at Natixis Investment Managers also announced in Paris last week that they will be launching a new active ETF in the second half of 2026.
