What’s New In Investments, Funds? – Tikehau Capital, iCapital

The latest news about investment products, new structures and service offerings that might be of interest to the wealth management industry.
Tikehau Capital
Tikehau
Capital, a Paris-based alternative asset manager, has made
one of its European private credit strategies available through
iCapital Marketplace, opening it to wealth managers in eligible
EMEA markets.
The strategy is an evergreen, euro-denominated fund domiciled in
Luxembourg, structured as a European Long-Term Investment
Fund under the EU’s revised ELTIF 2.0 regime. It invests mainly
in first-lien senior secured debt issued by European
companies.
The two firms first worked together in 2022, when iCapital began
handling digital subscriptions, investor onboarding and lifecycle
servicing for Tikehau products. The new arrangement extends that
relationship into distribution.
Tikehau manages €53.5 billion ($60 billion) covering credit,
real assets, private equity and capital markets strategies, as of
30 June 2026. It has 709 staff in 17 offices across Europe, Asia
and North America. It also invests its own balance sheet, which
stood at €3.2 billion of equity on the same date, alongside
clients.
iCapital, headquartered in New York and Greenwich, Connecticut,
services $1.2 trillion of assets on its platform, including $327
billion in alternative platform assets. It serves nearly 3,900
wealth management firms and 144,000 active financial
professionals.
The launch adds to a growing range of semi-liquid ELTIF products
aimed at European private wealth. The revised ELTIF framework
took effect in January 2024, lowering barriers for retail and
high net worth investors. Since then, managers have increasingly
turned to evergreen structures and third-party platforms to reach
that market without building their own distribution. However,
there have been
concerns on whether evergreen funds might experience stresses
if affluent/retail investors wish to pull out funds, as they did
earlier this year in the private credit sector.
