What’s New In Investments, Funds? – Atomos

The latest news in investment offerings, financial products and other services relative to wealth advisors and their clients.
atomos, a UK-based advice-led wealth manager, has entered into a partnership this week with SS&C Hubwise to offer a new platform service to the UK wealth market called ‘atomos invest’.
The partnership enables atomos to offer its blend of investment
solutions to investors via digitally-enabled wrappers on atomos
invest, the firm said in a statement.
The SS&C Hubwise partnership and overall platform offers a
forward-looking proposition to the market – one that gives
clients all the benefits of a face-to-face service combined with
the convenience and accessibility of modern digital tools, the
firm continued.
Since its acquisition and carve out by Oaktree Capital Management
in May 2022, atomos has launched a new strategy which positions
the business as a modern, technology-led wealth
manager.
Niral Parekh, atomos’ chief operating officer, said: "As a firm,
we want to transform every possible data point of the assets our
clients invest with us into insights that deliver better service.
Customising our own platform solution and wrapping it around a
cloud-based data warehouse simply allows us to do that at scale.”
"As the wealth management industry prepares for the introduction
of the Consumer Duty rules in 2023, our vision is simple: to lead
the industry in delivering an exceptional client service and
experience, enriching lives well beyond wealth. Our partnership
with SS&C will help us make this vision a reality,” he
continued.
Nick Wright, CEO, global investor distribution solutions at
SS&C, added: “At SS&C, we pride ourselves on cutting-edge
technology combined with first class services across the spectrum
of investment administration.”
“We are very excited at the opportunity to partner with atomos to significantly improve the advisor and investor experience,” he said.
atomos is a UK-based, digitally enabled, hybrid wealth business providing a financial planning service and portfolio management, owned by funds managed by Oaktree Capital Management, and led by CEO, Jonathan Polin.
It manages £7 billion ($8.3 billion) of investments and savings, and will allow clients to view their entire financial ecosystem through an app.
