What’s New In Investments, Funds? – Allfunds, Rathbones, ABN AMRO

The latest news in investment offerings, financial products and other services relative to wealth advisors and their clients.
Allfunds, Rathbones
Allfunds, a B2B
wealthtech platform for the funds industry, has partnered with
Rathbones, a
provider of wealth management and related services, to provide
funds dealing and distribution services.
The partnership gives Rathbones the ability to deal and trade products through a single portal, streamlining and improving the service for Rathbones’ clients, the firm said in a statement. It was initiated in 2023, with Rathbones’ international subsidiary using Allfunds for funds dealing and distribution and benefiting from access to Allfunds’ universe of over 140,000 funds.
Building on the success of the initial migration to the Allfunds platform for Rathbones Investment Management International, the partnership has now evolved to encompass the combined investment management business of Rathbones Group and Investec Wealth & Investment (UK) across both their international and UK-domestic investments, the firm added.
The partnership has contributed to Allfunds’ recent performance in the UK and has helped drive the company’s assets under management, which surpassed €100 billion ($110 billion) in April 2024, the firm said.
ABN AMRO Investment Solutions
ABN AMRO
Investment Solutions has broadened its offer to European
investors on its platform, with two newly-launched US equity
funds in partnership with Parnassus Investments and River Road
Asset Management
The two new US equity funds – Parnassus US ESG Growth Equities and River Road US Dividend All Cap Value Equities – are sub-funds of the AMS SICAV, an open-ended investment company operating under Luxembourg law, managed by AAIS US-based Delegates, Parnassus Investments and River Road Asset Management.
River Road Asset Management is an institutional investment firm managing for pension plans, foundations and investment companies across the world. The firm specialises in value-oriented equity investment management.
ABN AMRO Investment Solutions said it will structure and distribute these funds to European investors exclusively through its platform.
Based on a strategy launched in late 2022, the Parnassus US ESG Growth Equities Fund invests in about 40 holdings, primarily in equity securities of large cap US companies. The fund managers aim to invest in companies which are poised to benefit from long-term secular trends that may shape the market for years to come and show sustainable competitive advantages together with strong ESG credentials.
The second fund, River Road US Dividend All Cap Value Equities, is based on a time-tested strategy launched in 2003 which is benchmarked against the MSCI USA TR Net Index but managed independently. This is a true all cap strategy investing in large, mid, and small cap stocks. The fund will target a minimum of 40 holdings with market caps above $700 million and a positive indicated dividend yield.
