Russell Investments, Unio Wealth Management
Russell
Investments, which had $418 billion in assets under
management at the end of June, has partnered with Ireland-based
Unio
Wealth Management to launch a new range of global multi-asset
solutions for investors in Ireland.
The new multi-asset fund range, called the Unio Way Fund Range
and powered by Russell Investments, will be available exclusively
to Unio’s clients. It comprises a suite of risk-aligned globally
diversified multi-asset funds spanning cautious, balanced and
growth strategies. The range aims to support long-term client
objectives such as wealth accumulation, sustainable growth and
capital preservation.
“Today, clients face an increasingly complex market environment
and need access to the right tools and expertise to help them
achieve their long-term financial goals,” Jim Leggate, head of
Europe, Middle East and Africa at Russell Investments, said.
“Comprehensive investment solutions built around diversification,
active management and strong governance are therefore
increasingly important.”
Derek Buckley, managing director at Unio Wealth Management,
added: “We believe strongly that Ireland’s next phase of wealth
creation will be driven by investing rather than saving. As such,
accessing the best globally diversified opportunity while
actively managing risk will, in our view, support financial
planning and lead to better long-term outcomes.”
The group of businesses under the Unio tag comprise Unio Wealth
Management specialising in private wealth management; and, Unio
Employee Benefits providing employee benefits administration,
investment and actuarial services to a wide range of
multinational and indigenous companies. Unio Financial Services
oversees circa €14 billion ($16.05 billion) of assets and employs
more than 300 colleagues across offices in Dublin, Cork, Limerick
and Galway.
Unio is backed by Great-West Lifeco a parent company of the Irish
Life Group.
FE fundinfo
FE fundinfo, an
international investment product information and technology
provider for the investment management community, has unveiled
what it calls an enhancement to its Global Fund Registration
(GFR) service.
Management companies (ManCos) will now have a single view of
their fund registration lifecycle, from request to audit, within
FE fundinfo’s Nexus for Investment Managers platform.
The capability comes as standard as part of FE fundinfo’s
existing GFR service, it said in a statement.
The firm said registration information and updates often sit
across disconnected sources, including email chains and phone
calls, making it harder for teams to track activity and share
updates internally. The new GFR enhancement addresses this
challenge by giving users persistent access to registration
information within Nexus for Investment Managers. Changes and
maintenance actions are tracked, auditable and reportable in one
place.
“Fund registration can be complex, particularly across multiple
funds and jurisdictions, making clear and consistent visibility
of progress critical,” Paul Poletti-Gadd, head of asset
management products at FE fundinfo, said. “By connecting product
mastering, registration, regulatory document production and
dissemination, we’re bringing more of the fund lifecycle together
within Nexus for Investment Managers.”
W1M Wealth Management
London-headquartered W1M Wealth
Management, a wealth and investment manager, has
launched its Retirement Managed Portfolio Service (RMPS).
The investment solution is aimed specifically at financial advisors to support clients as they move from accumulating wealth to drawing a retirement income. The solution aims to help investors remain on track through changing market conditions while continuing to support sustainable income withdrawals.
The RMPS is designed to complement W1M's Managed Portfolio Service range. Clients invested in W1M's MPS portfolios can move into a corresponding retirement portfolio.
The RMPS will be available across W1M's advisor platform network, supporting broad accessibility for financial advisors and their clients. The proposition will initially launch on 12 advisor platforms, including 7IM, Aviva, Transact, Aberdeen Wrap, Aberdeen Model Manager, Fidelity, Quilter, WealthTime (Novia), Parmenion, M&G Wealth, Fundment and Platform One, with rollout across the remainder of W1M's platform panel coming over the next few months.
“Financial planning for retirement is fundamentally different from wealth accumulation, yet many investors continue to use solutions that were designed for a completely different stage of life. As clients increasingly rely on their investment portfolios to generate additional income over potentially decades of retirement, advisors need solutions that reflect those changing objectives,” George Bromfield, head of Adviser Solutions at W1M, said. “We've developed the Retirement Managed Portfolio Service to make that transition as straightforward as possible. It provides a resilient investment approach designed to address the key risks retirees face, while giving advisors a simple, plug-and-play solution that sits naturally alongside our existing Managed Portfolio Service,” he added.
