What's New In Investments, Funds? – Hamilton Lane, Chubb Wealth

The latest news in investment offerings, financial products and other services relevant to wealth advisors and their clients.
Chubb Wealth, the Hong Kong wealth management platform owned by
insurer Chubb, has partnered with US private markets firm
Hamilton Lane to offer a selection of its global evergreen funds
to eligible professional investors.
The funds include strategies in venture and growth, Asia private
assets and private infrastructure. Hamilton Lane’s evergreen
range runs to 12 funds with $20.1 billion in assets under
management globally, the firms said.
Chubb Investment Management (HK), a wholly owned subsidiary of
US-headquartered Chubb, launched Chubb Wealth in
February 2026. The platform is licensed by the Securities and
Futures Commission (SFC) and serves clients classified as
professional investors, which requires at least HK$8 million
($1.01 billion) in investable assets. It already distributes
funds from more than 10 managers, including KKR, Goldman
Sachs Asset Management and PIMCO. Its alternatives offering
covers private equity, private credit, infrastructure and real
estate, with minimum investments from $10,000.
Hamilton Lane, which is listed on Nasdaq, had $1 trillion in
assets under management and supervision as of 31 March 2026, of
which $141.8 billion was discretionary.
The new funds give Chubb Wealth clients exposure to pre-IPO
companies, an area typically closed to individual investors. Ben
Rudd, general manager of Chubb Wealth, said: “High-growth,
pre-IPO companies represent a vital private asset class that has
historically represented a significant source of portfolio
diversification and growth potential, yet has remained out of
reach for most individual investors.”
The deal is the latest example of a global private markets
manager using semi-liquid evergreen vehicles to reach Asia’s
wealth channel, and of regional insurers moving beyond protection
products into wealth management. Hong Kong’s private wealth
management industry held more than HK$10 trillion in assets at
the end of 2024, up 15 per cent year-on-year.
