City National Bank has hired Michael Dowling as senior vice president and manager for its personal trust division. He will oversee all personal trust division activities at City National, including all account administration for trust clients in Los Angeles, San Francisco, Orange County, San Diego and Las Vegas.

Mr Dowling joins from US Trust, Bank of America Private Wealth Management in San Francisco.
