City National Bank of California has promoted Marti Hodgdon, to senior vice president and private banking segment manager. In this newly created position, Ms Hodgdon will be responsible for developing and driving private banking strategies, programmes and products for City National. She also will oversee the professional services segment of the private bank, which specialises in serving law firms, accountants and medical practices. Ms Hodgdon was previously Northside regional manager for City National's core banking division. She now will report to Dallas Haun, executive vice president and manager of California commercial and private banking services for City National Bank. The bank is owned by City National Corporation which has almost $27 billion of clients assets under management.
