WealthTouch Names Chief Technology Officer

Rod Saunders has been named chief technology officer for WealthTouch, a financial reporting platform for ultra-high net worth families, family offices and advisors.

Mr Saunders is expected to lead the development of new client-driven features and will build the architecture needed to support WealthTouch’s future growth. In a statement, the company said he will advance security systems and the existing architecture in anticipation of new technologies, delivery channels and the near- and long-term needs of its customers.

"As our client base expands geographically we continue to refine our innovative technology in order to provide the most advanced reporting platform available," said Norman Jones, chief executive of WealthTouch. "Rod’s extensive skill set make him the appropriate leader of our technological team," he said.

In 2007 Mr Saunders served as CIO of Mercury Companies, the largest independent title insurance agency in the US.  He has developed technology strategies for a number of products and services as an architect and consultant for public companies such as TicketMaster USA, MCI Worldcomm and First American Title.
