The Asia-Pacific region is increasingly recognised as a key growth market for wealth management, not least due to the region’s growing ranks of high net worth individuals: in this year’s World Wealth Report, Merrill Lynch/Cap Gemini said they expect North America and Asia-Pacific to lead the growth in HNW individuals’ financial wealth, and predicted that the Asia-Pacific region will actually overtake North America by 2013.
