Wealth Manager Goes Down the E-Learning Route

Jersey-based Abacus, one of the UK's largest independent wealth management firms, has switched over to an e-learning system from Skillwise to improve staff productivity and satisfy corporate compliance regulations. It is anticipated that the system will save around £400,000 ($704,129), or 225 working days for Abacus and help the company meet regulatory requirements. Abacus previously used traditional classroom-based training methods, but has now invested in simulated CHS, a bespoke client handling software product from Skillswise to improve its training delivery. “New and existing staff can track their progress as part of regular personal development planning, and gain greater competency on this key system more quickly,” said Mervyn Le Masurier, Abacus group training manager. Abacus manages £23 billion of customer assets.
