US-headquartered investment house TCA has appointed industry veteran Bill Fickling as portfolio manager for the firm's Opportunities Fund I, a small-cap, private equity fund that invests in underserved growth stage companies.

Fickling has more than 40 years’ experience leading investment organisations. In 2005, as vice president of Mulberry Street Investment Company, his family’s private investment arm, he oversaw the sale of Beech Street Corporation to Concentra for $170 million.
