Wealth Management App Launched For Android Phones

Finantix, the London-based technology firm, has launched applications for financial advisors and individual investors that will run on Android smartphones, the firm said in a statement to the press.

The apps offer client position, portfolio analytics, risk and compliance alerts, and client communication. At the same time, they offer strong security with 24/7 continuous operation, the firm said.

The apps can easily be integrated into existing wealth management solutions, the firm said.

Android is Google’s smartphone operating system that has recently attracted much attention from customers and competes with Nokia’s smartphones, Apple’s iPhone and RIM’s Blackberrys.

"We are impressed with the openness and power of the Android platform: these characteristics explain the astonishing adoption rate Android is enjoying,” said Alessandro Tonchia, founder and director of Finantix.

“The new apps confirm our commitment to a multi-device wealth management architecture. We want to give our clients maximum flexibility: After iPhone, iPad and now Android, we will soon add Blackberry support," he added.

Finantix software is explicitly designed for multi-channel and multi-device delivery; in addition to Android, the software also supports Web, Flash, iPhone and iPad within a single implementation.
