Washington Wealth Creates Northeastern Footprint With MSSB Team

Washington Wealth Management has created a northeastern presence with the launch of an office in Connecticut, and the addition of a wealth advisory team from Morgan Stanley Smith Barney.
Joining Washington is Pacilio Wealth Management, which is led by 25-year financial services veteran Thomas Pacilio. Under the terms of the partnership, Pacilio will assume a dual role as president and managing director of Pacilio Wealth and as director of Washington's Westport, Connecticut office. He will be joined by Daniel Besse, vice president and managing director of Pacilio Wealth, and Brian Fink, vice president.
Pacilio Wealth Management has some $145 million in assets under management for high net worth clients, and the team produces around $1.3 million in revenues annually.
Alongside the addition of the team, Washington is opening its first office in the Northeastern US. This is the company's sixth office since its December 2010 launch and is the third location to open this month. The other two new offices are in Las Vegas, Nevada and Carmel Valley, San Diego.
Pacilio will act as an "anchor" and leader to develop the firm's presence regionally and across the US, said Rob Bartenstein, chief of strategy at Washington Wealth Management, which is headquartered in Middleburg, Virginia.
