Washington Trust Appoints Executive Vice President For Wealth Management

Mark Gim, executive vice president and treasurer at Westerly, RI-based Washington Trust, has been named executive vice president of wealth management and treasurer.

In his new role, Gim will establish and execute business strategy for Washington Trust Wealth Management, a division of The Washington Trust Company.

Gim, who joined Washington Trust in September 1993 from Citizens Bank, oversaw the retail banking division alongside his roles as executive vice president and treasurer.

Washington Trust Wealth Management has offices in Providence, Westerly, and Narragansett, RI, and Wellesley, MA. The firm had $4.4 billion in assets under administration, as at March 31, 2013.

Washington Trust offers personal and business banking services, including wealth management and trust services, through offices in Rhode Island, Connecticut and Massachusetts.
