Performance of structured products can now be analysed for the first time using Vontobel's backtesting tool at its finance portal, www.derinet.ch. The Swiss private bank's portal offers a fast way to translate ideas into investments with its analysis of over 4,200 leveraged and structured products. The exact return that a specific structured product generated in the past can be calculated using the backtesting service tool. Vontobel says it is the first issuer to offer users the option of simulating a return performance over a period dating back up to ten years. The website also lists the best new issues, the 20 top structured products and the best warrants, along with an individual risk calculation for investors.
