US Wealth Manager Rebrands as Rockit Solutions

A New York City wealth management firm has changed its name as it prepares to relocate to Stamford, Connecticut, in August this year, the Connecticut Post reported.

Integrated Wealth Services, a wholly owned subsidiary of Rockefeller & Co, has become Rockit Solutions.

"Our new corporate identity leverages the strength of the Rockefeller & Co. brand and the 125-year heritage of the Rockefeller family office to meet the unique needs of the ultra-high net worth market," Roy King, president and chief executive officer of Rockit Solutions, was quoted as saying.

Rockit Solutions plans to move from 30 Rockefeller Plaza to the Stamford Harbor Park office complex at Ludlow St. The company will have about 100 people in Stamford by the end of this year, said Mr King.

Mr King said the new name also comes from Rockefeller & Co's Rockit software, which deals with the complexities of managing family wealth.

Rockefeller & Co., which manages investments for individuals, families, endowments and institutions, started the Rockit system in 2000.
