US Bank Wealth Management has hired Joel Black as its chief operating officer. He will oversee operations in three units: Private Client Reserve, US Bancorp Investment, and US Bancorp Insurance Services. He will report to Mark Jordahl, president of the wealth management group.

Mr Black joins from UBS Financial Services, where he had various senior roles in the wealth management division. Before that, he worked in private client services at Piper Jaffray when that firm was part of US Bancorp.
