US Tax Firm Adds New Partner

Caturano and Company, the Boston-based accountancy, consulting and wealth management firm, has promoted Marc Lamothe to a partner in the firm’s tax practice.

Mr Lamothe joined Caturano and Company in 2004, prior to which his career included being a tax manager at accountancy Arthur Andersen, and a stint at the Boston tax practice of Deloitte & Touche - roles which both focused on partnerships.

At Caturano and Company Mr Lamothe serves broad middle market industries, focusing on venture capital, investment fund management, professional service (law), energy, real estate and construction clients, the firm said in a statement.

“Marc’s experience in tax, mergers and acquisitions and specifically in the partnership/LLC area has greatly benefited our diverse client base,” said Richard Caturano, president of Caturano and Company.

“Marc successfully navigates the complex challenges facing broad middle market industries, and it is this experience that makes Marc’s leadership such a key component to our continued growth strategy,” Mr Caturano added.
