US Private Bank Targets Health Pros in Houston

US private client bank, Encore, which specialises in banking and wealth management services for health-care professionals, has opened a new location in the heart of the medical community of Houston, Texas. Encore manages $1.3 billion from its 11 private client offices in the Houston area, six in southwest Florida on behalf of professional firms, privately-owned businesses and their owners, corporate executives, affluent individuals and investors. James D’Agostino, Encore Bank’s chairman and chief executive officer, named Meredith Beaumont, vice president and branch Manager of the new office, located in the 30-story Memorial Hermann Medical Plaza, the largest medical office building in the Texas Medical Center. Ms Beaumont offers customised mortgages, lines of credit and cash management services including remote deposit, while Encore’s wealth management subsidiary, Linscomb & Williams, provides financial planning, wealth management, trust and insurance products. David Maloy, senior vice president of health care banking for Encore Bank said in a statement:“Encore private bankers understand the incredible demands placed on today’s medical professionals and the limited time they have available to take care of necessities like banking and financial planning.”
