The US-based law firm Holland & Knight has hired Milford Hatcher as a partner in its private wealth services practice. 

Mr Hatcher, previously a partner at Jones Day, will be based in Holland & Knight’s Jacksonville office and in his new role will concentrate on estate planning, business succession and income tax planning for high net worth clients. 

“[Mr Hatcher’s] extensive private wealth and tax experience will strengthen the capabilities we offer to our clients and prospective clients, not only in our Jacksonville and Atlanta offices, but nationally,” said Edward Koren, partner and practice group leader for the firm's private wealth services practice.
