US HNWs Always on the Lookout for Advisors – Survey

A new survey by Fidelity suggests that of 2,500 Americans with more than $1 million in investable assets (excluding real estate), 13 per cent of them are looking to find a trusted advisor within the next 12 months. Fidelity Millionaire Outlook also found that of those who already have a relationship with an advisor, more than a third say they actually use two. The average advisory relationship lasts 10 years. The survey also found that almost three-quarters (71 per cent) use advisors who offers comprehensive wealth management services, and independent advisors hold 56 per cent of millionaire’s investable assets - more than any other class of advisor.
