Paresh Upadhyaya, head of Americas Group of 10 currency strategy at Bank of America, is leaving the firm to become director of foreign exchange at Pioneer Investment Management, according to Bloomberg.

Upadhyaya will leave BofA today and join Pioneer in Boston on December 27, he told the news service. Both firms declined to comment, the report said.

Upadhyaya joined the US banking and wealth management giant last year from Putnam Investments, where he helped oversee $21 billion in assets.
