US Bank has brought in Martim De Arantes Oliveira as a managing director at its new office to serve ultra high net worth clients in San Francisco, CA.

Ascent Private Capital Management is the firm’s UHNW business and was set up in April 2011 for clients with over $25 million in investable assets.

Reporting to Michael Cole, president of Ascent Private Capital Management, Oliveira will be responsible for driving the growth of the new office in San Francisco, which will open this summer.

He leads an initial team of seven professionals, who will provide UHNW clients with investment management, private banking, wealth impact planning and financial administration in the Bay Area.

Oliveira has over 16 years of experience in the financial services industry, primarily working with UHNW families.

He previously served as the West Coast regional director for Silver Bridge Advisors in San Francisco, where he was responsible for establishing, managing and expanding the firm’s presence on the West Coast, including leading teams tasked with the delivery of wealth and investment advisory services.

Before that, he served as a founding and managing principal of H&S Financial Advisors, a San Francisco-based wealth advisory boutique that served high net worth and UHNW individuals.
