US's Pershing Names New CEO

The global financial firm has announced a new CEO, taking over from a predecessor who is retiring.

BNY Mellon's Pershing, a global provider of financial business solutions, has named Lisa Dolly as the company's new chief executive, effective from 16 February.

Dolly, currently the firm's chief operating officer, will succeed Ron DeCicco, who is retiring from his role as CEO of Pershing. As part of the leadership transition, he will serve as an executive advisor over the next year working closely with Dolly, Pershing's executive committee and key clients.

Over her 25-year career at Pershing, Dolly held numerous leadership roles before becoming COO. She was responsible for the firm's managed investment business and Lockwood Advisors; managed global operations; and served as chief administrative officer.

An announcement of Dolly's successor as chief operating officer is expected in the coming weeks.
