US's Fieldpoint Private Names Chief Investment Officer

Greenwich, CT-based Fieldpoint Private, the wealth advisory and private banking firm, has hired Bill Kennedy as chief investment officer, effective 2 July.
Kennedy will oversee all of the firm's investment functions, including research, strategy and asset allocation.
He is formerly of Guy Carpenter & Co, where he ran the firm's global analytic and advisory division. Prior to that, he co-founded and served as CIO of Century Atlantic Capital Management. Earlier still he was at Citigroup, where he worked for 12 years until 2008. There he held a number of roles including head of Japanese equity research, based in Tokyo, and global director of research.
The appointment of Kennedy follows news earlier this week that the firm has taken on another New York-based managing director in the shape of David Zoll. Robert Rigoroso and Jeffrey Ferraro were also added to the New York office as managing directors in March and May respectively.
Fieldpoint Private was established in 2008 and offers a range of wealth management and strategy, family office, private banking and business banking services.
