UMB taps Dana Abraham as new wealth-business exec

Holding co. to offer wealth services throughout Midwest banking footprint. Kansas City-based multi-bank holding company UMB Financial has made Dana Abraham in executive v.p. of its investment- and wealth-management business as well as its private-banking operations.

Abraham came to UMB as a senior v.p. for private banking in October 2005. She had been with Bank of America.

"Dana's leadership and experience will help advance and strengthen [our investment- and wealth-management area in] a market that demands a customer-centric philosophy."

Leading UMB's team of wealth-advisory teams, Abraham will oversee the delivery of financial-planning, trust and fiduciary products, and investment services to the bank's high-net-worth clients in addition to extending private-banking services to all UMB markets

UMB's subsidiaries operate 139 banking centers in Missouri, Kansas, Illinois, Colorado, Oklahoma and Nebraska. -FWR
