UK-Based Sarasin & Partners Appoints Head Of Global Equities

Sarasin
& Partners, a UK-based firm, has appointed Jeremy Thomas
as head of global equities, starting with immediate effect.
Thomas joins from Allianz Global, where he managed global and UK
equity mandates for over 12 years. His new role has been freshly
created, a spokesperson told this publication when asked about
the matter.
Before Allianz Global, Thomas worked at ISIS Management, now
F&C, and began his career at Schroders.
Sarasin & Partners is an asset manager overseeing the money
of charities, institutions, intermediaries, pension fund,
and private clients, from the UK and the rest of the world.
Thomas will be responsible for managing institutional mandates
and Sarasin’s team of thematic equity analysts. He will report to
Subitha Subramaniam, Sarasin & Partner’s head of asset
management.
Among other recent developments, in July this year Guy
Monson, who a prominent figure in London's investment community
for more than a decade, handed over his duties as managing
partner at Sarasin & Partners to Guy Matthews to focus on
his chief investment officer role. He became a senior
partner.
Sarasin & Partners manages £13.6 billion ($16.74 billion) of AuM
(as of 30 June 2016).
