UK-Based Salamanca Group Appoints Trust, Fiduciary Managing Director
Salamanca Group has appointed Paul Douglas as managing director of Salamanca Group Trust and Fiduciary, Jersey.
Salamanca Group has
appointed Paul Douglas as managing director of Salamanca Group Trust and
Fiduciary, Jersey.
Douglas will be responsible for running the operation in Jersey
and growing its book of business, Salamanca said in a
statement.
He was previously based in Switzerland as managing director of
Salamanca Group Trust and Fiduciary, where he oversaw a team of
35 people.
“Paul brings us a wealth of expertise from his position in
Switzerland, where he spent six extremely productive years
managing and expanding the team as well as being a valued member
of the executive committee and director on holdings board
governing global trust operations. In his new role as managing
director in Jersey, he will help us to stay on track with our
plans for growth, constructively challenge and contribute to our
strategy, as well as support our operational leadership.” said
Xavier Isaac, head of trust and fiduciary.
This year has so far been a busy one for Salamanca. At the end of
January, it completed the acquisition of Investec Trust Group
from Investec Bank and last month, the firm launched a new
private office division.
