UK-Based Alternative Tech Platform Secures $25 Million Growth Capital

The firm is riding a rising wave of interest in alternative investments such as private equity, credit, venture capital and forms of property investment.
London-headquartered Bite Investments,
which offers technology solutions for the alternative investments
sector, said yesterday that it has secured $25 million in growth
capital from NewSpring Growth, part of Pennsylvania-based
NewSpring
Capital.
Bite Investments’ flagship product, Bite Stream, is an
end-to-end, modular platform that provides a single, cloud-based
hub for managing the investor journey. The solution streamlines
investor onboarding and investor communication, offering a
single portal for limited partners and retail investors
alike to view all their holdings in one place.
“Bite Investments reflects the kind of forward-looking innovation
that aligns perfectly with NewSpring’s investment strategy,”
Jonathan Brassington, advisory partner, at NewSpring Capital,
said. “Their integrated platform is redefining how private
markets connect investors and managers, making the industry more
transparent, scalable, and accessible.”
Bite Investments was established 15 years ago. Co-founders are
Henry Talbot Ponsonby and William Rudebeck (he is also CEO).
The UK firm was advised by Piper Sandler as financial advisor and
Paul Hastings as legal counsel. NewSpring was advised by Baker
Tilly on financial matters, KPMG on tax matters, and Cozen
O’Connor for legal counsel.
