UK regional wealth manager Yorkshire Investment Group has acquired Manor Management Services for an undisclosed sum. MMS provides the back-office services for Manor Financial Management, a financial services business based in Rawdon, near Leeds. The deal means YIG will form a strategic alliance with Manor Financial. Under the deal, 12 Manor staff are joining YIG, increasing the group's workforce to around 100. The combined company will operate out of offices in Pontefract, Leeds and Rawdon. Peter Jones, YIG's managing director, said in a statement: “This latest deal is Yorkshire Investment Group's fifth acquisition in recent years and takes YIG's private client wealth management assets under management and advice to around £300 million ($565 million).
