UK Wealth Advisor Launches “PlanHappy” Service

The offering is designed to help guide and coach financial planning professionals at a time of continual change in the UK’s wealth sector.
Joslin Rhodes,
the pensions and retirement planning firm based in the UK’s
Northeast, has announced today that it has launched PlanHappy,
which provides training, coaching and development services for
wealth management professionals.
The new service was conceived by Neil Parker, Joslin Rhodes’
chief executive.
“PlanHappy was born out of frustration,” Parker said in a
statement. “As a lifestyle financial planner, the existing
software available just didn’t do what I wanted it to do.”
PlanHappy has three training courses, including its PlanHappy
Lifestyle Financial Planning Process. Planners will have access
to hundreds of hours of continuing professional development (CPD)
content as well as personalised one-to-one coaching. In total,
there are 280 modules of CPD course content.
“Continuous professional development has to be at the heart of
truly effective financial planning,” Parker said. “Understanding
the financial landscape and evolving client needs is one thing.
But to be truly ahead of the game, a successful financial planner
should always be looking to hone their craft and not make the
same mistakes as many before them have.”
Parker, who trained in his mid-teens to be a chef, moved to the
civil engineering sector before entering the financial services
sector at the age of 26. He launched Joslin Rhodes, a firm
employing 60 people, which has £200 million ($253.7 million)
in funds under management.
The PlanHappy software has been in a beta testing phase for three
years and is now ready for launching across the UK, the firm
added.
