UK Venture Capital Platform Names CEO, Chairman

The UK-based VC organisation says it offers direct access to a curated portfolio of early-stage businesses, putting investors in charge of choosing which companies they choose to back.
Growthdeck, the
venture capital business, has appointed one of its existing
figures, Frederick Hamilton, as CEO, and Kieron Launder as board
chairman.
Hamilton, who was previously investment head at
Growthdeck, has been with the organisation for more than two
years, having had a decade of experience, analysing, and
executing deals across UK pre-seed to Series B investments. He
has held board positions for Oxford University spinouts including
Brill Power, Oxford Quantum Circuits, and Salience Labs.
Launder has more than three decades’ financial sector experience.
He has served in senior roles including head of strategic
advisory services at Rothschild Private Banking & Trust, advising
ultra-high net worth families on long-term investing and risk
mitigation, and chief investment officer for Schroders & Co,
the private banking arm of Schroders.
Launder has been an active investor in unlisted private companies
for more than 20 years.
Growthdeck says it offers direct access to a curated portfolio of
early-stage businesses, with investors choosing their own
investments and benefiting from the UK’s generous tax relief
schemes.
