UK-based Brewin Dolphin Securities has appointed Philip Browne as director of marketing after the promotion of the previous incumbent, Charlotte Black, to a new position as director of corporate affairs. Mr Browne joins from London-based private client investment manager and stockbroker Killik & Co where he was also director of marketing. "I am delighted that Philip Browne will be joining us as director of marketing," said Jamie Matheson, Brewin's executive chairman. "I am sure his considerable marketing skills will be of great benefit to our promotional efforts. This appointment will also free up Charlotte Black and allow her to pursue a more public role for Brewin Dolphin." Brewin Dolphin manages around £19 billion of client assets and has 35 offices.
