UK Private Bank Launches Mobile Banking App

Private bank Arbuthnot Latham & Co. has launched a mobile banking app which will enable personal clients to access a full range of secure wealth management and private banking services.

Arbuthnot Latham & Co., the private banking and wealth management arm of the Arbuthnot Banking Group, has launched a mobile banking app which will enable personal clients to access a full range of secure services, including account balance enquiries, transaction reporting and the ability to make payments.

“Arbuthnot Latham’s clients have an expectation that their banking services keep pace with technological developments in their day-to-day life. Smartphones and tablet devices are the convenient and efficient way for busy clients to keep on top of their daily banking needs,” said chief executive, James Fleming, when explaining the need for a mobile banking app.

The CEO also added that the firm is looking to connect with its private and wealth clients in more ways than one.

“The mobile App deployment is only one of a number of digital and online banking projects that we have introduced which is enhancing our online presence,” said Fleming.

The mobile app, designed in collaboration with Sandstone Technology, has been developed to operate on both Apple iOS and Android platforms, and has the highest levels of security, the firm said in a statement.

In addition to its London headquarters, Arbuthnot Latham also has a regional office in the North West, a branch office in Exeter and recently launched an international branch office in Dubai. Read more on that story, here.
