Investors remain confident despite recent market conditions, according to research from Barclays Stockbrokers. Active traders and bullish investors are seizing the opportunity to benefit from falling share prices, with 52 per cent planning to buy in the current market conditions. In addition to this over a third – 37 per cent – are preferring to hold their investments. A minority, however, are more wary of the current volatile climate: 11 per cent will sell. The results were taken from a Barclays Stockbrokers web poll of 3,456 individuals between 28 January and 10 February 2008.
